Lynae DePriest

Oh, hello! I’m Lynaé, but most people call me Lé, and my pronouns are they/them. Thanks for checking out my profile. I’ve been doing improv and theatre since high school. I moved to NYC in 2013, a handful of years after graduating from Berkeley, and started studying at UCB in 2014. After finishing through advanced study and doing a few performance classes, I branched off to explore and further strengthen my skills in other forms. I did a round of Supernova, then went on to Instant Teams at Reckless and was on an inaugural team with The Armory. I’ve been a rotating cast member for TYFCO and CPT, and performed with great teams like King Zebra. I’ve also been an actor and teaching artist with Story Pirates since 2016.

I specialize in coaching for all ages, starting all the way down to my lil pre-k buddies. Whether you’re looking for a coach for your improv team, practice group, work team/department, or as a way to get your kids creating and having fun, I got you! My focus as a coach is building up your confidence, stage presence, team support and (most importantly) making sure you are finding your fun in every scene.

My rate is $24/hr by cash or Venmo and I coach both virtually and in person. I wear a mask and test regularly, to keep myself and others safe. If people wearing masks in 2025 makes you upset or angry, I am not the coach for you. Just so we save each other the time. I update my availability regularly, so just check out my calendar.
