Sophie Yalkezian

I started improvising at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2012 and now perform regularly on Lloyd night as a member of Top Heavy. I've been coaching improv since 2015, and teach workshops at festivals and theaters all over the country with my indie team Future Wives (futurewivescomedy.com).

As a coach I love working with teams to find the ~*magic*~ that makes their play unique. I love building up on basic skills like supportive teamwork, clear labelling and group mind so that every team member shines. I'm a firm believer that improv should be fun and never feel like work, and hope to help anyone who feels stuck or nervous to get out of their head and be their freakiest, funniest selves on stage.
